A Rich Experience for Children & Adults
-

Move & Sing Joyfully
“But my child can’t sit still on a yoga mat!” That’s great, because Singing Yogis is the exact opposite! Get ready to move as you and your child prance and swim and leap like animals, blast off with rocket ships, and sing your way through a new imaginative story each week. Together, you’ll be playfully engaged with joyful song and tons of movement.
-

Process, not Perfection
Children build body awareness, coordination, and emotional regulation while moving, singing, and exploring big ideas with their whole selves. No pressure, no performance, no perfection. Just encouragement, creativity, and success with each new tune. And you’ll learn simple, practical calming tools and self-care strategies to use long after class ends.
-

Connect Playfully
This is special shared time, not a drop-off class. As you and your child move, imagine, and make music together in a welcoming, inclusive space, you’ll create memories you’ll both carry home. And with access to a members-only Singing Yogis video library, the joy and laughter can last all week long!

Level 1
For toddlers ages 18 months - 3 years and a parent or caregiver
Toddlers are on the go, go, go! Harnessing their natural love of music with their need to move, we’re singing our way through the discovery of all the amazing things our bodies can now do. As we jump and twirl and go upside-down, we’re also learning tools to identify and communicate our big feelings through relatable stories and songs you can use at home.
-

Level 2
For preschoolers ages 3 - 5 years and a parent or caregiver
For these big kids, imagination is the name of the game. As we move and sing through big new imaginary adventures each class, we’re practicing many real-life skills like taking turns, sharing, and empathy. All the while, we’re exercising our bodies, discovering new ways to move, exploring partner movements, and challenging our balance.
“Singing Yogis provides a lovely bonding opportunity for families. We have not been to any other parent-child program that teaches regulation techniques like this! My six year old loves to sing the songs and remember the movements all week long!”

We begin with a familiar warm-up routine, getting our bodies and voices ready for our adventure with a lively Hello Song and simple movements.
As we move through the storyline of each class, we become the characters in our adventure through movement and song. If we are exploring under the sea, we’ll transform into sleek fishies, wiggling octopuses, leaping dolphins, singing all the way.
Before we sing goodbye, we’ll share a storybook together and practice finding our calm - alongside our parents and caregivers - with a quiet song at the close of class.
-
You and your child are both valued members of our class and community, and we encourage you to move and sing along! All movements are tailored - and adjusted as necessary - for all ages and abilities. We love seeing how children make movements their own, and how much they love moving with their parents and caregivers.
All teachers are still certified yoga instructors and trained to create a safe physical experience for all.
-
You and your child should wear clothes that are comfortable to move in. Jeans and skirts/dresses are not recommended. We will play in bare feet.
-
While Singing Yogis is a fresh new style of yoga, we do use mats for added foot traction and to create a safe movement “bubble” for each child and parent/caregiver. That said, we move around the room a lot, too!
We provide mats, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
